St. Illa Chapter

Welcome

Welcome to the St. Illa Chapter of the National League of Junior Cotillions. St. Illa Chapter serves all of Ware and Pierce Counties schools. The Junior Cotillion setting encourages young ladies and gentlemen to be comfortable together, make new friends, and enjoy themselves. The program consists of seven classes/events, held once a month, with instructions in the courtesies that make life more plesant for them and those around them; to offer them through training in standard ballroom dance; and to provide opportunities to practice and enjoy these skills at memorable parties, dances/classes and balls. The Balls allow formal opportunities to practice all training. The highlight of the year is the Grand Spring Ball.

All classes are to be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 401 Pendleton Street, Waycross, Georgia. Please use the parish hall blue door on Mary Street for entrance.

About Director

Sara Rollison has been a director for fourteen years with the National League of Junior Cotillions. She has Chapters in Pierce/Ware County. Sara has won the President’s Award and also Best Parents’ Reception Award.  She has been spotlighted as Director of the Month nationwide.  Sara is very active in the community as a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador.  She won the most prestigious award from the Exchange Club, the Book of Golden Deeds Award in 2017.  In 2013, she won the Bright Spot Award from the Pierce County Chamber.
