National League of Junior Cotillions
Welcome to the National League of Junior Cotillions’ Southside Chapter! Junior Cotillion is a character education program that teaches middle school students contemporary etiquette, manners and ballroom dancing skills. The goals of the program are to give young people self-confidence and respect by providing instruction and practice in courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them.
Junior Cotillion begins in the 6th grade for Season I and continues on in the 7th grade for Season II. Classes meet one night a month starting in September and concluding with a final ball in early April. Classes are held Fuqua School in Farmville, VA.

Reed Horton, Director, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hollins College. She has been a Cotillion instructor since 1996. Reed resides in Farmville with her husband and two sons.
Tory Wade, Director, received a Bachelor of Arts in from Sweet Briar College. She has been a Cotillion instructor since 1998. Tory resides in Farmville with her husband and son.
