Welcome

Welcome to the National League of Junior Cotillions Greater Lee County Chapter.  The purpose of the National League of Junior Cotillions Cotillion™ Program is to give young people instruction and practice in the courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them.  Young ladies and gentlemen are expected to leave the program with the confidence and poise that comes from knowing the proper etiquette in any social situation.

About Director

Mary Evelyn Jordan is in her tenth year directing the National League of Junior Cotillions - Greater Lee County Chapter and her second year as Director.  A native of Montgomery, AL, Mary Evelyn graduated from Auburn University with a BA in communications and has worked in hospitality, fundraising and event management. Having been a student of the National League of Junior Cotillions - Montgomery Chapter, Mary Evelyn has experienced first hand the impact junior cotillion can make both socially and professionally and hopes to share that knowledge with students for many years to come.  

Joanna Prather Reaves is in her fourth year directing the National League of Junior Cotillions – Greater Lee County Chapter.  A native of Auburn, AL,  Joanna graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Management Information Systems.  She received her MS from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Elementary Education. She is currently a mortgage loan officer with a local bank.  Joanna believes skills gained through junior cotillion will benefit students for the rest of their lives, and she is so excited to share in this experience with them.
