Welcome to the Montgomery Junior Cotillion. Our mission is to act and learn to treat others with honor, dignity, and respect for better relationships with our family, friends, and business associates later in life and learn to practice ballroom dance.

All classes are held on Sunday afternoons,
from September through March.

All Junior Cotillion sessions are dress-up affairs for which careful grooming is required. Dancing requires hard-sole shoes; no athletic shoes or flip flops. Ladies should wear conservative Sunday dresses or skirts and dress shoes. White gloves are required for the ladies. Gentlemen should wear dress pants, and polo shirts or button down dress shirts. For the balls, gentlemen must wear a coat and tie.
About Director
Melissa Snowden is the director of Montgomery Junior Cotillion. She thoroughly enjoys working with students as they learn and practice manners, etiquette and ballroom dance. Melissa is a graduate of Auburn Montgomery with a degree in Elementary Education. She is a real estate agent with ARC Realty Co. helping families find their perfect homes. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog, Muffy, playing tennis, gardening and playing with her grandson, Franklin.
She is married to attorney Frank Snowden and they have three daughters, Madison, Savannah, and Isabella, that also assist with Junior Cotillion classes and balls. For more information, please contact Melissa at 334-590-0132.
