About Director
Karrie Tilley is the Director for the National League of Junior Cotillions, Orange and Durham County Chapters. Originally from North Carolina, Karrie attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earning both BA and MS degrees in Hospitality Management. She has worked with companies in various settings over the years from NASCAR and ESPN to global events such as the High Point Furniture Market with the Promotional Division of Marilyn's Agency based in Greensboro, North Carolina. She also spent seven years with the Atlantic Coast Conference office in the Men's Basketball Officiating and Operations department.
Karrie and her husband Josh have been married since 2007 and reside in Chapel Hill. Over the past ten years, Karrie has been an active volunteer in the local community, giving her time and love for youth to organizations such as Preschool at Chapel of the Cross, Scroggs Elementary School, St. Thomas More Catholic School, Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill and Chapel Hill Country Club Board of Directors, where she leads the Pool Committee. Her Cotillion journey started with daughters Maddie and McKenzie, who had the privilege of attending classes led by the former Director Debbie Scully. As an ambassador for Debbie and a mom of two, Karrie quickly recognized the importance of educating our youth on social etiquette. She will provide incredible energy and leadership in this role, teaching our children how to successfully build relationships and socially navigate their futures with the utmost confidence.
