About Director
Junior Cotillion - Melanie Finnegan
We’re excited to announce Melanie Finnegan as the new Director of the National League of Junior Cotillions (NLJC) Greater Savannah Chapter, beginning in 2025!
For over 20 years, Grace Lyon Merritt led this chapter with heart and purpose—shaping thousands of young lives through etiquette, confidence, and leadership training. Her impact, alongside her work with Millie Lewis Modeling & Development, created a legacy we are proud to honor.
Melanie Finnegan, a Savannah resident for two decades, brings her own gifts to this role. With a BBA from Mercer and an MBA from Georgia Southern, she’s a seasoned professional, a dedicated volunteer, and a passionate advocate for youth development.
Pre-Cotillion - Anne Brooks
Originally from Virginia, Anne has been a resident of Savannah since 2009. Anne has a Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University and works as an Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator at The Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute.
“I am excited to bring the Pre-Cotillion program to elementary children in the greater Savannah to help shape character through manners, kindness, and confidence.” - Anne
