Thank you for your interest in Junior Cotillion. The Three Rivers Chapter of the National League of Junior Cotillions was established in 1993 to share the Junior Cotillion's mission of treating others with honor, dignity, and respect with the families in our area. Cotillion students are sixth, seventh, and eighth graders who have been recommended for invitation. Interested parents and grandparents may contact us to make sure their student is on the invitation list.
Announcements
Classes for the 2024-25 season begin January 12th, Sunday, at the Rome History Museum, upstairs. Register online and mail in your white registration card along with your payment to Jim Hobgood, 27 Pine Valley Road SW, Rome, GA 30165. You may also pay online via Venmo or Paypal.
About Director
Lou Ella Hobgood is a certified etiquette instructor with over 30 years experience teaching etiquette and social dance to all ages. She has received national recognition for her cotillion program from the National League of Junior Cotillions and has appeared on area television and national radio programs to speak about etiquette. Since beginning her career as a director with the National League of Junior Cotillions, she has taught over 2,800 students. Mrs. Hobgood lives in Rome with her husband Jim who assists in directing the Cotillion. She is on the Steering Committee of the Rome Symphony Debutante Ball, is a member and past president of Seven Hills Garden Club, the League of Women Voters, St. Peter's Episcopal Church and is active in several community organizations. She works at Shaw Industries as a corporate trainer.
