About Director
Alisha Turner-Day is from the Dothan, Al area and has been a Walton County resident, permanently, since 2011. She is the mother of three children, Noah, Lilyana and Rosemary. She works for an executive search firm Miramar Beach. She and her family are members of St. Rita Catholic Church in Santa Rosa Beach and volunteer when able, for organizations like the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center. Alisha has over 25 years of experience as a private coach of poise and stage presence, public speaking and interview skills and over 10 years of dance training. Alisha became the director for NLJC, Walton County Chapter, because she wants to give our children and youth the tools they need to be certain of themselves in any situation and to make life more pleasant for themselves and those around them. She is commited to helping make politeness, decency and manners significant for our community's youth and to teach the art of ballroom dancing. Please use the contact page to send me an email, for more information about the upcoming classes we are planning.
