About Director

Leigh Ruhl has been an active member of the Asheville community since 1997. Currently, she is Vice-Chair of the Boys & Girls Club of the Asheville Region. Leigh has also served in volunteer leadership positions at A-B Tech Community College, Carolina Day School, Mission Health Foundation and United Way. In 2022, she retired from a fulfilling career in philanthropy to become the Director of National League of Junior Cotillions Asheville Chapter. Leigh serves on the National Advisory Board of the National League of Junior Cotillions and is the Etiquette Consultant to Asheville Junior Assembly.  Leigh is passionate about creating a kinder and more courteous community in which young ladies and gentleman act and treat others with honor, dignity, and respect.  She feels privileged to share her knowledge and experience with her students. Leigh and her husband John are blessed with two adult children and three grandchildren.
