Year 1 is packed full of active lessons on greeting people and shaking hands, manners in the home, proper seating and escort positions, proper introductions, paying and receiving compliments, party courtesies, dance position, and how to lead and follow.  Students will be served nut-free cookies and lemonade/water at each class and will learn how to go through a refreshment line. Year 2 quickly revisits etiquettes learned in Year 1 in addition to learning more detailed dance steps and spending more time on dining and interview etiquettes. Year 2 includes a 5-course instructional dinner before the Spring Ball.
