About Director

Amanda Wagner was born and raised in Kansas City. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Westminster College and spent the next fifteen years living in five cities spread out over three continents. In 2022 she returned to Kansas City with her husband, two daughters, and two cats (Ethel and Lucy) in tow.  As they say, "There is no place like home."

Amanda is a member of the Junior League of Kansas City and sits on the board of the Kansas City Ballet Guild.  She has served with various parent groups through her children’s schooling and regularly volunteers in local schools.  Previoulsy, Amanda taught ballet - to children and adults both! These experiences beautifully demonstrate Amanda's love of children, education, dance, and cultural exchange.

Amanda is thrilled to bring Junior Cotillion back to Kansas City. As she likes to say, “Good manners never go out of style!”
