Classes
Our program is structured as a multi-year experience, with each year building upon the last. Students are placed based on both grade level and prior participation.
PRE-COTILLION
Grades 1–4
A three-day introductory program designed for younger students. Pre-Cotillion focuses on basic manners, respect for others, and simple social skills in a fun and engaging setting.
JUNIOR COTILLION – YEAR I
Typically Grades 5–6 (New Students)
Year I introduces the fundamentals of social etiquette and dance. Students learn introductions and proper greetings, respect for others, basic conversation skills, and confidence in social settings. Foundational social dance instruction is also included.
This class is designed for students who are new to Cotillion.
JUNIOR COTILLION – YEAR II
Returning Students + New 7th & 8th Grade Students
Year II builds on the foundation established in Year I, with continued focus on confidence, leadership, and social awareness. There is a stronger emphasis on dining etiquette, along with continued development of communication skills and social confidence. Students also learn additional dance instruction.
Students who have completed Year I will continue into Year II. New older students (7th and 8th grade) are also placed in this class.
