BELOW IS THE SCHEDULE FOR THE JUNIOR COTILLION 2026-2027 SEASON for 6th, 7th and 8th GRADE
SIXTH GRADE class meets once/month from 5:00-6:30pm on Tuesday OR Thursday.
SEVENTH & EIGHTH GRADE class meets once/month from 7:00-8:30pm on Tuesday OR Thursday.
TUESDAY CLASSES meet at THE LIGHTHOUSE, 6800 Baum Drive
THURSDAY CLASSES meet at FOX DEN COUNTRY CLUB, 12284 North Fox Den Drive
Families may choose what day/location works best for them.
SIXTH GRADE 2026-2027 TUESDAY CLASSES meet 5:00-6:30pm at The Lighthouse. The Spring Ball is at Cherokee Country Club.

DEC 8 - Instructional 3 Course Dinner (need Rsvp)

GENERAL SUMMARY
The purpose of the National League of Junior Cotillions is to offer young people instruction and practice in the courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them, to offer thorough training in standard ballroom dance and to provide opportunities to practice and enjoy the skills at memorable parties, dances/classes and balls complete with decorations, refreshments, favors and prizes.
The Junior Cotillion program for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students begins with the first class in the fall for a total of 7 events. They meet once a month for an hour and a half during the academic school year from fall to spring, with the schedule listed under 'Classes.'
A Pre-Cotillion program is also offered for elementary school students. In the fall, we invite 1st-5th graders to join us for three 75 minute classes, schedule TBA.
All students should pre-register online. Tuition payment is payable via Stripe or online credit card; alternatively a check to 'NLJC' may be mailed.

PRE-COTILLION for 1st-5th grade students has been offered since 2022. This popular nationwide program includes instruction that gets younger students ready for Junior Cotillion in middle school. We offer classes for 1st- 5th graders in the Fall. Please watch for registration information. Dates TBA.
JUNIOR COTILLION This year classes at Cherokee will move to The Lighthouse, just five minutes away at 6800 Baum Drive on Tuesdays. New classes were added at FOX DEN COUNTRY CLUB last year and plans are to continue this year on Thursdays. Please sign up for the day or location desired.
