About Director
JUNIOR COTILLION DIRECTORS
Charles Winters II and Jenna Winters have a deep-rooted passion for teaching etiquette and manners, inspired by Charles’ parents, Charles and Anne Winters. The National League of Junior Cotillions was founded in 1989 to instill confidence, courtesy, and social skills in young people nationwide.
We strive to honor Anne’s legacy, emphasizing kindness, character, and social education. We are excited to teach modern manners and everyday etiquette, positively influencing our lives and families.
We are proud to carry on the program in honor of Mary Kennerty, the esteemed Director of the Charleston area Cotillion for 28 years. Through her tenure, over 8,000 parents chose the NLJC Junior Cotillion for their children in Charleston, Summerville, and Beaufort.
PRE-COTILLION DIRECTOR
With over 15 years in education and a true passion for helping children grow in confidence and kindness, Sarah brings such warmth and expertise to our team. She lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband and two children, and she’s excited to lead this season’s joyful and engaging classes for rising 1st through 3rd graders.
HIGH SCHOOL DIRECTOR
Kendall is originally from North Carolina and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2018. She lived in Charlotte before moving to Mount Pleasant in 2022 with her husband and their dog, Charlie. She works full-time as the Influencer Relations and Social Media Manager for Stitch Golf and pursues her passion for real estate on the side with Charleston Premier Realty. When she’s not working, you can find her spending time with family and friends, playing mahjong, or trying new Charleston restaurants. She’s also a member of the Junior League of Charleston and loves being part of this amazing community! Kendall is excited to work with this year’s Cotillion students, helping them build confidence, practice etiquette, and prepare for life beyond high school.
