TUTION
Membership dues for Year I are: $375 and include all costs for the training and balls.
Dues for Year II are $400 and include all costs for the training and ball plus the instructional dinner. Dues for Premiere are $400. We highly recommend that you send in your reservation early, as class sizes are limited and are filled on a first come first-come first-serve basis. Payments can be made online using Stripe credit or debit at www.nljc.com/chapter/pinebeltms and they do charge a fee for this, or checks made to Greater Pine Belt Chapter. Please put your child's first and last name in the memo line and mail to our address below. Tuition may be paid in full with the application or half with the application and the remaining half by September 1, 2026.
There will be no refunds except in the case of extraordinary circumstances such as moving or illness, in fairness to students who are placed on the waiting list.

Junior Cotillion Year I Laurel MS , Wednesday
The Junior Cotillion Year I Program: Students will receive instruction and practice in the courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them, give them thorough training in standard ballroom dance, and to provide opportunities to practice and enjoy these skills at memorable parties, balls, dinners, and events, complete with decorations, refreshments, favors and prizes.
Classes will cover topics such as proper seating and escort position, introductions, receiving compliments, manners in the home, thank you notes, basic table manners, telephone etiquette, electronic/social media etiquette and responding to invitations. Dance instruction will include the Foxtrot, Beach Shag or Swing, Cha-Cha-Cha and Waltz. The Grand Spring Ball will provide students with an opportunity to practice the skills, etiquette, and dance that they have been learning in a wonderful, exciting social situation.
The season consists of five monthly classes, and a Holiday Class and a Grand Spring Ball. The season begins in September and concludes in March.
The Dues for the 2026-2027 Junior Cotillion Year 1 - $375
Junior Cotillion Year II
JUNIOR COTILLION YEAR II
The Junior Cotillion Year II program is designed for students, most of whom have completed the Year I program. However, completion of the Year I program is not a pre-requisite to register for Year II. Year II students will build upon the curriculum learned in Year I while learning new concepts and more advanced dance steps. The curriculum will continue to provide instruction and practice in the courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them, give them thorough training in standard ballroom dance, and to provide opportunities to practice and enjoy these skills at memorable parties, balls, dinners, and events, complete with decorations, refreshments, favors and prizes.
Classes will cover topics such as manners in public places, characteristics of noble character, being a guest and a host, interview etiquette and skills, dress codes, how to tie a tie, table manners, cell phone etiquette, polite conversation, formal dinner guidelines and place settings. Dance instruction includes new steps for the Foxtrot, Beach Shag Swing, Cha-Cha, and Waltz. Parents join us for the final half hour of the final class in preparation for our parent-child Waltzes at the end of the Grand Spring Ball. The five-course Instructional Dinner and the Grand Spring Ball will provide students with an opportunity to practice the skills, etiquette, and dance that they have been learning in a wonderful, exciting social situation.
The season consists of five ninety-minute classes, a Instructional Dinner and the Grand Spring Ball Classes meet monthly. The season begins in September and concludes in March. The location for the Instructional Dinner is to be determined.

Junior Cotillion Premiere
JUNIOR COTILLION YEAR III PREMIERE
The Junior Cotillion Year III Premier program is designed for students, most of whom have completed the Year I and Year II programs. However, completion of the previous programs is not a pre-requisite to register for Year III. Year III students will build upon the curriculum learned in previous yeaqrs while learning new concepts and more advanced dance steps. The curriculum will continue to provide instruction and practice in the courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them, give them thorough training in standard ballroom dance, and to provide opportunities to practice and enjoy these skills at memorable parties, balls, dinners, and events, complete with decorations, refreshments, favors and prizes.
Classes will allow students the opportunity to put into practie, everything they have learned in Year I and Year II programs. The curriulum in desinged to provide a real world application to include cultural outings at a Japanese restaraunt and theaters, as well as classes at our designate venue. Classes and cultural outings will focus on interviewing skills, manners in public places, dining skills, escorting partners, good sportsmanship, and occasions to socialize and dance with classmates. Dance instruction includes new steps for the Foxtrot, Beach Shag Swing, Cha-Cha, and Waltz. Parents join us for the final half hour of the final class in preparation for our parent-child Waltzes at the end of the Grand Spring Ball.
