About Director

Teri Block has spent her life bringing people together — through communication, community service, and the joy of teaching. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Communications and an MBA, she built her career as a marketing director in both the banking and nonprofit sectors in Greenville, South Carolina, where she developed a reputation for clarity, connection, and purpose‑driven leadership.

Her passion for mentoring young people led her to Junior Cotillion, where she has taught since 2015.  Teri is the Owner and Director of the Greenville Westside Chapter of Junior Cotillion, guiding students in confidence, character, and social grace. Her chapter’s work can be found here: Greenville Westside & Easley Junior Cotillion.

Teri’s commitment to youth development also extends into her creative life. She is the author of the children’s book Manners, Manners - Simple Selection of Everyday Etiquette, a short story designed to inspire kindness and confidence in young readers. Her book is available here: Manners, Manners!

In addition to her community and creative work, Teri holds multiple fitness certifications and enjoys teaching students of all ages, encouraging confidence and wellness through movement. For more than 25 years, she has been an active member of her church, grounding her life in faith, service, and meaningful connection.
