Informative Parent Reception
You are cordially invited to attend our upcoming Cotillion Parent Reception on August 21st from 7:15 PM. This special evening is designed for parents interested in enrolling their children in the 2025–2026 season of Junior Cotillion. Come learn more about the program’s curriculum, goals, and lasting impact on young students. We encourage all interested families to attend—it's a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, meet the director, and ensure you're ready for first-come, first-serve enrollment.
About the Cotillion Parent Advisory Board
A Cotillion Parent Advisory Board typically plays a supportive and collaborative role in helping a cotillion program run smoothly and stay aligned with the values and needs of the families it serves. Here’s a breakdown of what they usually do:
Advisory & Support Role
• Provide feedback to the director on curriculum, event planning, communication, and logistics.
• Serve as a sounding board for new ideas, concerns, or community-specific adjustments.
• Help ensure the program reflects local values, etiquette norms, and cultural expectations.
Event & Volunteer Coordination
• Assist with logistics and volunteer support for sessions and the final ball (e.g., check-in, refreshments, decor).
• May help organize special touches like photo booths, refreshments, or gift bags for students.
Community Outreach & Promotion
• Help promote the program through word-of-mouth, social media, school connections, or local events.
• Sometimes assist in recruiting new families or recommending potential instructors/assistants.
Parent Liaison
• Serve as a bridge between the director and other parents, offering peer-level communication and addressing general questions or concerns.
• Encourage parent involvement and participation when needed.
