Class and Ball dates for our next Junior Cotillion season will be posted when confirmed to be held at Highland Country Club.

Our Junior Cotillion season begins with our Parents' Reception at Highland Country Club.  Date and time to be announced.

The Parents' Reception is an informational meeting for parents.  The students do not attend this event. 

Parents are not required to attend the Parents' Reception in order to register their child.

All Classes and the Ball are to be held in the main ballroom at Highland Country Club.

Each class offers instruction in etiquette and beginning ballroom dance.

Our etiquette curriculum includes instruction in introductions, shaking hands, paying and receiving compliments, thank you notes, Rsvp, and table setting.

Dance instruction includes the Foxtrot, Beach Shag, Waltz and Cha Cha; double-hand contact, closed dance hold, arch turn, and wrap turn.

Class time is 4:30-6:00pm on each class date.

Ball time is 7:30-10:00pm.  Students arrive at the Holly Ball by 7;15pm for group photo. 

Parents, not assisting as Chaperones at the Ball, may join us in the ballroom at 9:30pm to observe the dancing and presentation of awards.

CLASS ATTIRE

Gentlemen - kakhi pants, shirt, tie, navy/dark blazer, and shoes for dancing.  NO athletic shoes.

Ladies - dress or skirt, (NO pants, no leggings), shoes for dancing and short WHITE GLOVES.

Ladies are reminded WHITE GLOVES are required at all classes and at the Ball. 

BALL ATTIRE

Gentlemen - black tie tuxedo (required)

Ladies - (below the) knee length or longer, age-appropriate WHITE dress with WHITE GLOVES, dress shoes suitable for dancing.
