What is Junior Cotillion?
Junior Cotillion is a unique program meticulously crafted to provide young individuals with valuable instruction and hands-on practice in the courtesies that enhance not only their lives but also the lives of those around them. Beyond that, it offers thorough training in standard ballroom dance, transforming them into graceful dancers. But that's not all! It also presents numerous opportunities to put these newfound skills to use at enchanting parties, elegant balls, delightful dinners, and unforgettable events. Imagine beautifully decorated venues, delectable refreshments, charming favors, and exciting prizes, all awaiting your child's participation!
Who is Eligible to Participate?
Our doors are open to middle school-age boys and girls, ranging from 5th to 8th grade. We welcome all with open arms to embark on this transformative journey.
What Life Skills Will My Child Learn in Junior Cotillion?
Junior Cotillion is not just about dancing; it's a holistic program that shapes well-rounded individuals. Here's a glimpse of what your child will learn:
Etiquette and Manners: We instill the importance of etiquette, manners, and character education. Your child will master the art of polite conversation, introductions, acknowledging gifts, and even navigating receiving lines. They'll gain insights into sports etiquette, dressing appropriately for all occasions, and impeccable table manners. From formal place settings to the styles of dining, we've got it covered.

Dance: We introduce students to the world of dance with grace. They'll learn the Foxtrot, Waltz, East Coast Swing, Salsa, and even popular line dances. It's a fantastic way to develop rhythm and poise while having a blast!
