2024-2025 Junior Cotillion 5th Grade (Year One)
Junior Cotillion Year One is for 5th-grade students. The program emphasizes etiquette, manners, character education, and dance training. Social education for 5th Grade includes: telephone courtesy, polite conversation, introductions, thank you notes, first impressions, manners in the home, table manners, and dining styles. Dance Education includes the basic steps of the Foxtrot, Swing, Cha-Cha, Waltz, and contemporary line dances.
The Grand Ball will allow students to practice the skills, etiquette, and dance they have learned in a beautiful, exciting social situation.
All instructional classes and ball will be held at the Episcopal Day School Currin Center.
Tuition: Membership dues for Year I are $350 and include all costs for the training and ball.

November 10th - Thanksgiving Class
December 1st - Holiday Class
January 12th - Winter Class (Parents Dip Into Dancing)
February 23rd - Grand Ball
2024-2025 Junior Cotillion 6th Grade (Year Two)
Junior Cotillion Year Two is for 6th-grade students. The program emphasizes etiquette, manners, character education, and dance training. Classes will cover manners in public places, characteristics of a noble character, guest and host, interview etiquette skills, dress codes, learning to tie a tie, table manners, cell phone etiquette, polite conversation, formal dinner guidelines, and place settings. Dance education will include more advanced combinations of the Foxtrot, Swing, Cha-Cha, Waltz, and contemporary line dances. Participation in the 5th-grade program is not required for students to participate in the 6th-grade program. The highlight of the Year II program is the Instructional Dinner.
The Grand Ball will allow students to practice the skills, etiquette, and dance they have learned in a beautiful, exciting social situation.

Tuition: Membership dues for Year II are $385 and include all training, instructional dinner, and ball costs. We highly recommend sending in your reservation early, as class sizes are limited and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes are filled according to the date the tuition is received. Acceptance of the invitation and tuition payment must be received by September 1, 2023. There will be no refunds except in extraordinary circumstances, such as moving or illness, in fairness to students placed on the waiting list. You will receive an email enrollment confirmation.
