National League of Junior Cotillions
Houston County Chapter
Welcome
Welcome to the National League of Junior Cotillions Houston County Chapter.
Thank you for visiting.
Classes are suspended for the 2020-2021 Season
It is so important for our young men and women to receive training and practice in the area of social skills in various settings, and we would love the honor of having your son or daughter in our classes. Our curriculum covers everything from table manners and formal dining to introductions, basic ballroom dancing to toasting and proper attire. The Season starts in September and ends with our Grand Spring Ball in March. For more information on classes go to the class tab.
The National League of Junior Cotillions is a nationwide program with more than 30 years experience teaching today's youth the art of dining etiquette, social graces, ethics, manners, and ballroom dancing.
Our mission is to teach children to treat others with dignity, honor, and respect for better relationships with family, friends, and associates.
Clarence Thomas said, “Manners open doors that even the greatest of educations cannot”.
Making sure that your child learns these life-long skills will give them a competitive edge in every facet of their life.
Announcements
Registration Cancelled
Acceptance is based on space availability. We balance classes with 50-50 young ladies and gentlemen. Wait lists may occur. We do our best to bring students off wait list as space becomes available. You will be notified by email of student status. Students who register with a "partner" will have a better opportunity for placement if space is available. This helps balance the ratio or young ladies to gentlemen. This does not mean they are partnered during the season.
Season One Tuition is $295 and $200 for additional children.
Season II classes are $335 and $187.50 for additional children (this includes the cost for the formal dinner in December)
To register your child for the upcoming season, please visit the regsitration link https://nljc.com/n/index.php/chapters/houstonco/chapter/registration/2019-2020
Payments can be made through Paypal using the following email;. [email protected]
I highly recommend that you register as early as possible to avoid a waiting list as class sizes are limited and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Classes are reserved according to the date on which payment is received. Half payments will be accepted with registration.

About Director
My name is Molly Townsend and I am beyond excited to be the director of the NLJC Houston County Chapter.
I live in Kathleen with my husband, Jeff. I have two children Lee(25) and Katie (23) both of which attend cotillion many years ago.
I have over 20 years experience working with and teaching children in both public and private schools. I am grateful for the opportunity to bring such a wonderful program to the Houston County area. My goal as the director is to teach young ladies and gentlemen skills that they will carry throughout their lives.
If you are interested in learning more about this program or cotillion in general, please contact me at [email protected] or call at 478-335-8867.
