Classes

For the 2025-2026 season, we will host several year 1 classes since it has been a few years since Cotillion has been held in the Johnston County area.  If you have any questions at all, please reach out by email to [email protected].

Class dates are:  Sept. 28, Nov. 2, Dec. 7 (2025) and Jan. 11, Feb. 1 (2026).  Grand Ball will be announced.

Junior Cotillion is a program designed for children in grades 5-8.  Year One (new students) is a mix of etiquette and dance instruction including the cha cha, fox trot, beach shag, and line dances. The social and character education components of the program include introductions and proper rising, acknowledgement of gifts, correspondence and the RSVP, participating in group settings, polite conversation, paying and receiving compliments, manners in the home, rules of proper telephone courtesy, basic table manners and many other areas of social behavior.  The highlight of the season is the final Grand Ball.
