Classes
Classes Available:
- Pre-Cotillion
- Junior Cotillion Year I 5th & 6th Grade
- Junior Cotillion Year II 7th & 8th Grade
- High School 9-12th
Pre-Cotillion
Classes are for children K-4th grade and will teach age-appropriate manners, table etiquette, how to be considerate and helpful at home and in play. We will focus on sports etiquette, manners in public, birthday party etiquette with thank you note instructions and a mock birthday party, and a mock dinner party walking through table manners. We offer fun skits to be silly but also showcase inappropriate behavior and how that behavior can be hurtful.
Classes are set for 9/7, 9/14, 9/21 from 1-2:30 pm.
Junior Cotillion Year I 5th & 6th Grade
Introduction to age-appropriate etiquette skills with a ballroom dancing component of instruction in the Foxtrot, Carolina Shag, Cha-Cha, and Waltz. Classes are held once a month beginning in September. There are five classes with a Holly Ball in December and a Grand Spring Ball in March.
Classes are set for 9/7, 10/5, 11/2, 12/7, 1/11, 2/1, 3/8 from 3-4:30 pm
Junior Cotillion Year II 7th & 8th Grade
Building on the instruction learned in the 5 & 6th grade class - year II expands on age-appropriate etiquette and dance instruction. Classes are held once a month with a five-course instructional meal and Holly Ball in December and a Black and White Ball in March. Participation in Year I is not required. Classes are set for:
9/7, 10/5, 11/2, 12/7, 1/11, 2/1, 3/8 from 5-6:30 pm

A two-hour deep dive seminar into business etiquette. We will discuss:
introductions
presentation
cover letters
resumes
letters of recommendations
proper thank you notes
how to communicate with business leaders
social media
interview questions and skills
Followed by a five-course instructional meal
