TUTION
Membership dues for Year I are: $340 and include all costs for the training and balls.
Dues for Year II are $360 and include all costs for the training and ball plus the instructional dinner. Dues for Premiere are $360. We highly recommend that you send in your reservation early, as class sizes are limited and are filled on a first come first-come first-serve basis. Payments can be made online using PayPal at www.nljc.com/chapter/pinebeltms and they do charge a fee for this, or checks made to Greater Pine Belt Chapter. Please put your child's first and last name in the memo line and mail to our address below. Tuition may be paid in full with the application or half with the application and the remaining half by September 1, 2024. There will be no refunds except in the case of extraordinary circumstances such as moving or illness, in fairness to students who are placed on the waiting list.

JUNIOR COTILLION YEAR I SEASON One 2024-2025 SEASON

Please note that the classes meet only once a month and this way all of our students can work their schedules around this time.

NOTE: We will offer an extra class during the season for those that are beginning later and if you have to miss a class.
The Junior Cotillion Year I program is designed for 5th and 6th and older grade students have an option to begin in the older level classes. Students will receive instruction and practice in the courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them, give them thorough training in standard ballroom dance, and to provide opportunities to practice and enjoy these skills at memorable parties, balls, and events, complete with decorations, refreshments, favors and prizes.
Classes will cover topics such as proper seating and escort position, introductions, receiving compliments, manners in the home, thank you notes, basic table manners, telephone etiquette, electronic/social media etiquette and responding to invitations. Dance instruction will include the Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, Cha Cha, Waltz and current line dances. Parents join us for the final half hour of the final class in preparation for our parent-child Waltzes at the end of the Grand Spring Ball. The classes and the Grand Spring Ball will provide students with an opportunity to practice the skills, etiquette and dance that they have been learning in a wonderful, exciting social situation.
The season consists of five ninety minute classes, a Holly Ball/ or Holiday Class Party or Winter Class Party and a Grand Spring Ball. Classes meet monthly for 90 minutes. The season begins in September and concludes in March. All the classes will be held at Citizens Bank at Bellevue on Highway 98.

The Junior Cotillion Year II program is designed for 6th-8th grade students who have completed the Year I program or 7th and older students new to cotillion. Year II students will build upon the curriculum learned in Year I while learning new concepts and more advanced dance steps. The curriculum will continue to provide instruction and practice in the courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them, give them thorough training in standard ballroom dance, and to provide opportunities to practice and enjoy these skills at memorable parties, balls, dinners and events, complete with decorations, refreshments, favors and prizes.
Classes will cover topics such as manners in public places, characteristics of noble character, being a guest and a host, interview etiquette and skills, dress codes, how to tie a tie, table manners, cell phone etiquette, polite conversation, formal dinner guidelines and place settings. Dance instruction includes new steps for the Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, Salsa, Cha Cha, Waltz and current line dances. Parents join us for the final half hour of the final class in preparation for our parent-child Waltzes at the end of the Grand Spring Ball. The Instructional Dinner, The Holly Ball and the Grand Spring Ball will provide students with an opportunity to practice the skills, etiquette and dance that they have been learning in a wonderful, exciting social situation.

Junior Cotillion Premiere
For Registration: Membership Dues for Premiere $360. The Junior Cotillion Year III (Premiere) program is designed for students who have completed the Year I and Year II program and or older students. Year III students will build upon curriculum learned in Year I and Year II while learning new concepts and more advanced dance steps. The curriculum will continue to provide instruction and practice in the courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them, give them thorough training in standard ballroom dance, and to provide opportunities to practice and enjoy these skills at memorable parties, balls, dinners and events, complete with decorations, refreshments, favors and prizes.
Classes allow students the opportunity to put into practice, everything they have learned in the Year I and Year II programs. The curriculum is designed to provide real world application to include cultural outings at restaurants and theaters, as well as social gatherings and classes at the clubhouse. Classes and cultural outings will focus on interviewing skills, manners in public places, dining skills, escorting partners, good sportsmanship and occasions to socialize and dance with classmates. Dance instruction includes the introduction of the Texas Two Step, new steps for the Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, Salsa, Cha Cha, Waltz and current line dances. Classes, cultural outings, and the Grand Spring Ball will provide students with an opportunity to practice the skills, etiquette and dance that they have been learning in a wonderful, exciting social situation.
The season will consist of several ninety minute classes, cultural outings and a Grand Spring Ball. The season begins in September and concludes in March and April. Classes will vary in theme and will be a different format than the basic ones. Cultural outings, will be hosted according to the class. Schedule & location to be determined.
