Junior Cotillion Year I

The Year 1 Program is a mix of etiquette and dance instruction including a line dance, fox trot, swing, cha-cha, and waltz. The social and character education components of the program include introducing yourself, acknowledgment of gifts, correspondence and RSVP, sports etiquette, and manners in the home. The highlight of the season is the Grand Spring Ball.

Dress code for classes: Ladies should wear age-appropriate dresses or skirts, dress shoes, and short white gloves (provided). Gentlemen should wear khaki pants, dress shirts, ties, navy or dark blazers, and dress shoes.

Dress code for Holly Ball and Grand Spring Ball: This is a semi-formal event. Ladies should wear age-appropriate tea-length or longer dresses, dress shoes, and short white gloves (provided). Gentlemen should wear the same blazer and tie as classes.
