Announcements
Exciting developments for the Upcoming Season
The Lake Lanier Chapter of the National League of Junior Cotillions is growing, and we are delighted to share several meaningful new opportunities for students, families, and community partners.
This season, our chapter is officially accepting student applications for tuition assistance, making it possible for more children to participate in the life-shaping work of Cotillion.
We are also expanding our programming to include Pre-Cotillion for rising 1st–4th grade students, giving our youngest students a joyful introduction to manners, kindness, confidence, and basic social skills.
For older students, we are now offering PAID High School Assistant roles for qualified students who would like to serve as role models, assist with instruction, and gain valuable leadership experience throughout the season.
And most exciting of all, our community can now participate directly in this important work by sponsoring our program. Sponsorships help provide tuition assistance, support special events, and strengthen the mission of bringing courtesy, confidence, respect, and social grace to the next generation.
Please visit our Classes page for more information about tuition scholarships, Pre-Cotillion, High School Assistant applications, and sponsorship opportunities.
About Director
Abigail Gonzalez brings a spirit of grace, refinement, and discerning leadership to her role as Director. With a professional background spanning client relations, tax consulting, team management, organizational leadership, and real estate, Abigail seamlessly blends executive-level expertise with a deep commitment to cultivating the next generation of poised and principled young leaders.
Alongside her husband, Alan Gonzalez, Abigail is raising six children—four of whom are teenagers—and remains deeply involved in her local community through academic initiatives and competitive youth athletics, particularly football. Her experiences as both a mother and a mentor have afforded her a rare insight into the challenges facing today’s youth, as well as the profound opportunity to elevate social aptitude in an increasingly dynamic world.
Believing that true etiquette is not merely a formality, but a timeless art of honoring others with dignity, Abigail advocates for a modern renaissance of civility, confidence, and social grace. Guided by an undying curiosity and a lifelong devotion to learning, she remains attuned to both classical traditions and the evolving expectations of today's society.
Under Abigail’s leadership, students are not simply taught manners; they are invited into a higher standard of character, discernment, and authentic leadership. She inspires young people to carry themselves with confidence, respect, and intentionality—equipping them to excel not only in social settings but in every arena of life.
Abigail Gonzalez’s work represents a return to elegance, excellence, and the enduring values that shape distinguished individuals and vibrant communities alike.
