Corporate STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Tuition Scholarship Application
For Families Applying for Cotillion Tuition Assistance
Cotillion benefits everyone it touches — from the students themselves to the parents, teachers, community leaders, and adults who have the privilege of interacting with them.
The mission of the Lake Lanier Chapter of the National League of Junior Cotillions is to enrich the fabric of our community by offering meaningful experiences that leave a lasting impression on students. Each class and event is thoughtfully designed to help students grow in confidence, courtesy, respect, grace, and social ease.
While we are grateful for the local vendors, venues, and community partners who help make these experiences possible, providing this standard of excellence does come at a significant expense. At the same time, the heart of etiquette is about honoring everyone — not only those who can easily afford these opportunities.
For this reason, the Lake Lanier Chapter is pleased to offer tuition scholarship opportunities for qualifying students. Scholarships allow students to experience Cotillion at no cost to their families through the generosity of community sponsors. Scholarship recipients will complete an age-appropriate application, write a heartfelt thank-you letter to their sponsor upon acceptance, and have the opportunity to meet their sponsor as a guest of honor at the Grand Spring Ball.
This process is designed to be meaningful for students. It introduces them to the valuable life experience of applying for a scholarship, expressing gratitude in writing, and building respectful connections with community leaders.
How to Apply
Families who are applying for a scholarship should complete two steps:
- Complete the regular online registration form for the appropriate Cotillion class.
When filling out registration, please indicate that a scholarship application has been submitted. - Download and complete the Scholarship Application Packet.

Classroom Sponsorship: $600 (16 Available)
Why This Sponsorship Matters:
Sponsoring a Cotillion class is the most practical and immediately impactful way to support our program. Each class is a carefully curated blend of etiquette instruction, hands-on practice, and social interaction—giving students skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
What Your Sponsorship Covers:
Venue Costs: Our largest single expense, securing an elegant, well-appointed space where students can learn and practice in a setting that reflects the formality and refinement of the program.
Visual & Audio Equipment: Ensuring students can see, hear, and engage fully with presentations, demonstrations, and dance instruction.
Student Refreshments: We serve light “snacks” during class, using this as an opportunity to teach food-related etiquette and the protocol for navigating refreshment tables—an often-overlooked life skill.
Dance Instruction: Professional, guided lessons in ballroom and social dances that reinforce cooperation, respect between partners, and confident movement in formal settings.
Inside a Cotillion Class:
A typical class begins with students practicing greetings, introductions, and conversation skills.
