Pre-Cotillion®

1st – 4th Grade

What is the Pre-Cotillion Program®?

The Pre-Cotillion Program setting will encourage children to be comfortable together, to make new friends and enjoy themselves. Through role-playing, hands-on experience and storytelling in a peer group, young ladies and gentlemen will leave the program with the beginnings of confidence and poise that come from knowing the appropriate behavior in a number of age-appropriate experiences. Pre-Cotillion Program is designed for students in the first – fourth grades.

What Makes Pre-Cotillion Different?

Pre-Cotillion is designed to be positive, engaging, and age-appropriate. Lessons are interactive and fun, giving children the opportunity to practice respectful behavior in real-life situations while building confidence, social awareness, and self-control.

What Can Parents Expect?

  • Instruction led by a trained NLJC® director in a welcoming peer-group setting
  • Interactive lessons through role-playing, hands-on practice, and storytelling
  • A focus on kindness, respect, and consideration for others
  • Skills children can apply immediately at home, at school, and in public

Good manners are more than rules, they are life skills. Pre-Cotillion helps children develop confidence, communication skills, and respectful behavior that support healthy friendships today and strong relationships in the years ahead.

  • Basic line dance
